Company   SPAAM Italiana was established in 1970. In 1997 the company moved to its new 5,000 m2 factory in Porcari - Lucca, where it manufactures saddles for motorcycles and scooters of all types. Its production volume makes it among the largest and most reliable suppliers to the original equipment market.   Over the years, the company has pursued a policy of product diversification, including significant investment in expansion of the pressing plant. Operations focus on the automotive sector (expanded polyurethane seat pads, with and without pressed metal frames), the furniture sector (padding for chairs, sofas, mattresses and pillows) and generally on all sectors where finished or semi-finished expanded polyurethane products are used. The company has its own laboratory, with specially designed equipment, where it conducts all the quality assurance and control tests required to meet production standards and end customers’ technical specifications. Since 1997 the quality management system has bee certified under the ISO 9000 standard by IMQ-CSQ of Milan. Certificate - ISO 9001- 2000.
